In Home Euthanasia Services
Saying goodbye to your pet is one of the most difficult decisions you may ever make in your life. Our staff is committed to making the process as easy as it can be. We are compassionate, empathetic, and non-judgmental. As veterinarians, we understand the progression of diseases and the suffering that is usually inevitable. Saying goodbye in your home could be the single most compassionate thing you do for your pet.
In Home Euthanasia Services Include:
Cremation Arrangements and Transportation
Before Dr. Conner arrives:
Think about any arrangements you would like to make beforehand, such as family or friends that would like to be present. Plan to have other family members and pets in the house say goodbye if they will not be present on the day of the appointment.
Find a quiet place where you and your pet will feel most comfortable. You may choose a favorite room, a special place in the house, or even somewhere quiet outdoors. If you have a cat or small dog, the procedure can often be done with your pet in your lap. Essentially, anyplace that is comfortable for you and your pet is fine.
The procedure will be explained to you once Dr. Conner arrives. Feel free to ask questions if needed. Everything will be done at the pace you and your pet dictate. The actual procedure is quite simple and peaceful. After the procedure, you may continue to spend as much time as you need with your pet, and Dr. Conner can also provide transportation for your pet if you choose cremation services. These services will be provided by Family Pals Cremation Services.
